Our 50,000 square foot facility houses comprehensive capabilities including 5-axis CNC machining centres, robotic welding cells, dynamic balancing equipment rated to 50 tonnes, and automated plasma cutting systems. This vertical integration enables complete in-house manufacture—from raw material processing through final assembly and testing—ensuring quality control at every stage. We process diverse materials from standard mild steel to exotic alloys like Hastelloy and Inconel, with thickness capabilities from 1.5mm sheet to 50mm plate. Our production flexibility accommodates everything from one-off prototype fans for research facilities to production runs of thousands for infrastructure projects. Precision Engineering at Scale Our manufacturing philosophy balances craftsmanship with efficient production, recognising that industrial fans demand both precision engineering and robust construction. The process begins with advanced cutting technology—laser, plasma, and water jet—achieving tolerances of ±0.5mm on components up to 5 metres diameter. Welding excellence, critical for structural integrity and leak-tightness, employs certified welders using TIG, MIG, and submerged arc processes with 100% visual inspection and selective NDT. Our machining centres handle components from tiny instrumentation bosses to massive bearing housings, maintaining concentricity and perpendicularity essential for smooth operation. Assembly areas accommodate fans from 100mm laboratory units to 5-metre tunnel ventilation giants, with dedicated cells for ATEX equipment preventing cross-contamination. Every impeller undergoes dynamic balancing to ISO 14694 Grade G2.5 or better, eliminating vibration and extending bearing life. Final testing in our AMCA-certified facility validates performance—airflow, pressure, power, and noise—ensuring specifications are met before dispatch. This comprehensive capability means we control quality from steel plate to commissioned system, delivering products that routinely exceed 30-year service life in demanding applications.
